Vida Paint opened its doors in October of 1973 to cater to the paint needs of the growing oilfield and marine industry. 

Owner and founder David Kirkpatrick has been a resident of Morgan City, Louisiana since 1959. Still today, Mr. Kirkpatrick has a very active role as President of the company. 

The growth strategy of the company enabled the opening of our Houma, LA location in 1977 and our Lafayette location in 1996. The combination of our centrally located stores has allowed us to quickly and efficiently support our customers with same day delivery and inventory management. 

As the company has grown, we have also been able to provide a larger inventory of items to our Residential and Commercial customers.

Our focus is on quality products and outstanding service! We proudly support professionals and do-it yourself weekend warriors.

Vida Paint & Supply is an essential supporter of the St. Mary Parish community. We enjoy the opportunity to step up for the hard working members of our community when they need it the most. 

Our employees are excellent at the paint business, but they are even better at Southern & Cajun cooking! We are also die hard LSU Tiger fans and take our tail gate very serious! We very much look forward to any time that we have an opportunity to provide a hot delicious meal to a friend.
